Sacajawea - Sacajawea was a shoshone girl who was born 1788 in Agaidika. At the age of 13 she was taken away to the Hidatsa tribe. At 13 she was forced to marry a french trapper. In 1804 she was pregnant with her first child and when she first met lewis and clark. In April Lewis and Clark took her with them so she could be a guide she could translate and help them with food. On May 14 1805 Sacajawea saved several supplies that contained food water and Clarks journel. If it was not for Sacajawea Lewis and Clark might not have made it from the east to the west or even to the pacific ocean.
